In the continuing series on local trails, this edition focuses on a small portion of the expansive Kent Trails system running from just South of John Ball Park to Johnson Park in Walker.
The Kenowa Hills renovated athletic facility was used for the first time this week! Please plan to come out and celebrate on September 2nd, when the KH Knights will challenge the Lowell Red Arrows. A special dedication ceremony will take place before the game.
Not only will this be a time to dedicate our athletic facility, but it will also be a time to give a warm Kenowa Hills welcome to three new leaders and their families. Gerald Hopkins, along with his wife, Kris, and their three children, joined our community on July 1st, when Mr. Hopkins took the helm of the District as our new Superintendent of Schools. Katharine Pennington became the Kenowa Hills High School Principal during the month of July. Katie and her husband have two children. Tamera Powers joined the team in August as the Director of Finance. Tamera and her husband have two children.
