KPS - Fuel Up to Play 60 Kick Off

From: http://www.khps.org

It is not every day that students get to work out with professional football players, but students from Zinser Elementary had this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on September 27 during this year's Fuel Up to Play 60 Kick Off to School Health at Ford Field in Detroit. Students learned a number of fun and easy to implement "plays" that can be incorporated into their nutrition and physical activity programs, inspiring students, schools and communities to create healthier school environments.

The students who attended from Zinser are: 5th graders Cameron McCarthy, Gibson Sposaro, Alexa Wynsma and 4th graders Annabella Bailey, Hayden Curtis and Bode DeVries. Traveling with students were teachers Sara Sposaro and Jennifer Sullivan and parent supporter Jill McCarthy. Zinser was one of 34 Michigan schools that participated in this year's Fuel Up to Play 60 Kick Off to School Health event.
