On Tuesday, June 5th, 2012, Dr. Brenner from Metro Health in Comstock Park will be at the Kenowa Hills High School gym from 5:30PM- 7:30PM to conduct sports physicals for next school year’s 7th to 12th graders, who are interested in playing sports. Physicals will cost $15 each and checks can be made payable to KHPS. If your student wears glasses please remember to bring them for the eye exam portion of the physical.

Physical/Insurance forms can be picked up at the High School Athletic office or at the Middle School. All athletes must have a physical/insurance form on file before participating in any Kenowa Hills athletic program. Physicals for the 2012-2013 sports season must be administered on or after April 15, 2012. If you prefer to have a physical by your family doctor you will still need to pick up a form from Kenowa Hills.

February 24, 2012 - Hockey game and Varsity Basketball games are on as scheduled tonight.

This past weekend was the Grand Rapids Hunting Time Expo at the Delt Plex.

All sorts of hunting and outdoor related products and information were available to all men and women, young and old, regardless if they are just starting out hunting for the first time or for the novice hunter. There was something for everyone and with Sunday being Free entrance to children, there was a noticible increase in numbers in attendance with the younger hunters.

One hunter was quoted as saying, "I have to say Hunting Expos are a really cool band aid for the ailments of the let down after hunting season." Michigan deer hunting ended January 1, 2012. However, turkey hunting applications are being accepted until Feburary 1 for the Spring season.
