New Restaurant to open in former Perkins Building

New Restaurant to open in former Perkins Building

Today while out and about on my lunch hour, I drove past the closed Perkins restaurant on Alpine and noticed a man painting the exterior of the building.

I decided to stop and talk to this man and maybe find out what is happening with the building. I thought the obvious thing would be that maybe an Oriental or Mexican Restaurant would be taking up residence because of the bright gold color of the paint, one of the many bright colors they seem to use in business.

My guess was right. The man I spoke to said a new Mexican Restaurant, called Cinco de Mayo, should be opening within a month or so from now. Keep an eye out for this new restaurant.
