Walker Mayor wins 74th District primary | News

WALKER, Mich. (WZZM)-The longtime Mayor of Walker is in the running to take over Republican Dave Agema's seat in the Michigan House.

The Republican race for the 74th District was called for Rob Verheulen Tuesday night. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Verheulen took 58 percent of the vote to Steve Maas' 42 percent.

Verheulen faces Democrat Richard Erdman in the November election. Agema cannot keep his seat because of term limits.
