WALKER, Mich.--The Grand Rapids Audubon Club invites bird enthusiasts to join this birding opportunity on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Millennium Park at 8 a.m.

Participants should meet at the south parking lot in Johnson Park off Butterworth Drive, north of 28th Street. This is a morning trip but you may bring a snack and a drink.

This is the chance to experience Millennium Park in the winter with leader Tom Leggett. Some of the ponds may have open water where a variety of waterfowl may appear, along with Northern Strike and Horned Larks. If you spot Horned Larks, be sure to look for Snow Buntings and Lapland Longspurs.
