WALKER, Mich. – The Humane Society of West Michigan is in need of cat scratcher donations.
The shelter has run out of Stretch & Scratch scratchers, which are attached to the animals cage doors. HSWM says the scratchers help reduce stress, clean nails and entertain the cats.
The scratchers can be purchased under this link. Donors can even ship them directly to the non-profit organization at the address below:
3077 Wilson Dr.
Grand Rapids, MI 49534
HSWM is also planning another cat adoption special. “Feline Frenzy” will take place September 10 through September 20. All cats are $5 and kittens are $10. HSWM is also offering an adopt one, get one free deal, thanks to a BISSELL Blocktail Party grant from the BISSELL Pet Foundation.
