Grand unveiling of the Mural "The Cycle of Life" by Roli Mancera

Saturday August 18  7:00pm-9:00pm, Cinco de Mayo #3 Restaurant, 3300 Alpine Ave.

As part of a monumental Art celebration Mayor of the City of Walker,Mr. Rob VerHeulen will be leading the ceremony talking about the importance of this Public mural for the community  and highlighting the path of young Roli Mancera, muralist who has already executed several public projects in the community including the famous "Little Mexico reopened Restauran" which makes a little over 2 years. The artist mentions conceptual details of the Mural:

The challenge, in my most recent work was: "The Cycle of Life" an original composition, in which my main intention was to structure, real and plastically, "The Cycle of Life" (conception, birth, growth, development, reproduction, maturity and inevitable death). Likewise, I maintain a Prehispanic core ,representing the prideI have for my culture and roots, which can be appreciated with the integration of LA PIEDRA DEL SOL as the central point of guidance, and wisdom for life that prehispanicos had,  Also, the symbolism that reflect the glyphs mixed in the composition.

The hands, with a surrealist concept, represent  Mother Earth ( LA MADRE TIERRA) , a vital element for the life of the 3 living species on the planet: plants, animals and Us, humans.

The event will feature Mexican appetizers and music to the general public.
